Despite the wet & windy weather we completed our 10
th Volksmarch in the Magnolia area of Seattle today. The drive up there was a bit scary. There was quite a bit of standing water on the freeway, and though we hydroplaned a couple of times, we made it up there safely. The walk was very pretty around the Magnolia neighborhoods. We saw views of the Puget Sound, the Seattle skyline and the Space Needle. There were many really nice homes. Afterwards we had lunch at Red Mill Burgers which had fabulous onion rings & the burgers were yummy also. Our final stop before heading home was Top Pot Doughnuts. Can't forget to include that we saw a Corgi! Not a bad way to spend a rainy Saturday!

At the start-we were all in our rain gear. Gabby's eyes are closed-as usual.

Scott & the girls. Gabby should be a weather girl.

A view of Puget Sound. As you can see it was a typical rainy Seattle day.

Really looks like fall with all those leaves on the ground!

One of the pretty houses we saw. It was more like a mini mansion.

Another pretty house. This was right across the street from the water.

Pretty fall color.

Red Mill Burgers.

Their signature wind mill sign.
Waiting for our food.

Our last stop-doughnuts! They were really good!
