Hike at Kanaskat-Palmer State Park

Scott and I decided to extend our holiday weekend and took today off since it was forecast to be sunny. We took Rosie to her second state park at Kanasket-Palmer which is in the Enumclaw area. We did the big loop which is approximately 2.65 miles. Luckily it wasn't super crowded so Rosie could go off leash for most if it which is what she loves most of all. She is getting better at being in the car so that makes us hopeful we will be able to get in lots more hikes in 2021!

Christmas 2020

I hope everyone had a great Christmas! We were happy the kids were able to be here to spend it with us. Gabby came down Christmas Eve after work and we drove around the neighborhood after dinner to see all the fabulous lights on display this year. On Christmas Day Corey and Terrell came over in the morning. We opened gifts then had brunch. Afterward we watched Wonder Woman 1984 which everyone enjoyed. We played a few games followed by dinner. We ended the day by baking and decorating sugar cookies. It was a fun filled day!

This was Christmas Eve. Rosie was watching Gabby open the present she bought her...earrings!
Santa brought Rosie this giant bone to keep her busy while we opened presents.

Walk at Pt Defiance

It's Christmas Eve! Scott got the day off this year so I decided to take the day off, too. We drove over to Point Ruston and met up with Corey and Terrell to do a walk over to Pt Defiance park. It was sunny in Bonney Lake but Ruston was socked in with heavy fog which made it feel much colder! We covered about 2 1/2 miles on our walk which included the Japanese and Northwest Native gardens. Rosie enjoyed all the new places and smells. We enjoyed seeing two bald eagles and a seal. It was a fun day and we are looking forward to seeing them again tomorrow on Christmas Day. Rosie is hoping Santa is going to bring her a giant bone!
Corey is turning Rosie into a tree hugger!
We are so happy she's getting better at being in the car!

Wedding Photos

I can't believe I posted these wedding photos on Instagram but forgot to post them here! They turned out really great!  It really was a beautiful wedding...amazing that it's been two months already since these were taken.

I love, love this photo of my beautiful girls!

Vet Visit

Yesterday we took Rosie to the vet for her 3rd series of shots. Now she is fully vaccinated (except for Rabies) so we can take her out to more places to walk.  She is just a week shy of her 4th month birthday and is already weighing in at 8 pounds, 6 ounces.  I think she will be a bit bigger than her parents who the breeder said were 9 pounds each.  She is super long, too! She's got that Corgi body and the Aussie legs and so much energy it's hard to keep up sometimes.

Here we are waiting in the car. She was not very happy about going to the vet.

Such a sad face!
Look at that looong body!

A Chorus Line

Scott and I bought a season pass to the 5th Avenue Theater for the 2026-2027 season, which will consist of 5 shows.  Our first show was A Ch...
