Thanksgiving Weekend

It was a crazy busy Thanksgiving weekend! We had 4 days off and we filled it with so many things!  On Thursday the kids came over for Thanksgiving dinner--I made so much food and we definitely ate too much!  Corey, Terrell & Nova left after dinner to head to his mom's house, but Gabby & Ethan stayed for a while to put up the Christmas tree and play some games (after a short nap!).  On Friday morning Scott & I took the puppies for a short hike at Pt. Defiance before we took Corey, Terrell & Nova to the zoo.  On Saturday we went to the Christmas Tree Festival at UPS with Jennifer, Corey, Terrell & Nova. The displays were beautiful!  On Sunday evening we returned to the zoo for zoo lights.  Now I'm officially exhausted, but ready for the holiday season!

On Thanksgiving we all wore our new matching pajamas!

Getting a family portrait was harder than planned!

Nova saw a squirrel and the puppies were annoyed.

Rosie kept running into the photo.

We put Gabby & Ethan to work.

Lights are in working order.

All done!

Mushrooms from the hike @ Pt. Defiance.

At the zoo!

With her cousin!

Penguins! They were being very active. They must love the cold weather.

Me with the very rare Nova bear.

Nova liked being eaten by the shark. This was the only time we could get her to smile!

Hanging an ornament on the giving tree.

Nova looks super excited!

Grandpa doing what he loves best--hanging with his favorite girl!

Cougar Tree!

There was a Santa there, so of course we had to get pictures. She didn't cry, but she wasn't happy!

Corey liked this reading tree. I don't think Nova was that excited about it.

Kraken tree.

These were the mini trees.

When we arrived at Zoo lights. We are all bundled up; it was really cold, but dry.
