Sounders Game

It's been a couple years since we've attended a Seattle Sounders game.  Not sure why, because they are so much fun!  Today Neil & Nancy drove over from Spokane and the 4 of us went to their match against the New York City FC.   We had a great time & got to watch the Sounders win 3-1.

Grave Creek Covered Bridge

It has been a bit of a whirlwind couple of days.  We headed down to Arcata the morning of July 4th to pick up the keys & check out Gabby's new apartment where she will be staying (hopefully) for the rest of her time at Humboldt.  We really liked the apartment; it is very close to campus and has an actual parking spot...something neither of her sister's apartments had in Pullman.  The next day, after dropping off her stuff, we went into town where we purchased her a new bed to be delivered when she actually moves in at the beginning of August.  We also set up her internet, power and insurance with a local agent since she will be bringing the car with her.  After lunch we headed back home with a quick pit stop at the Grave Creek Covered Bridge.  We had seen the sign for it several times on our way back and forth to Arcata.  It was really pretty, and a nice little pit stop.
