Hard to believe, but our baby turns 21 today! Where has the time gone? We are sad that we won't get to spend this special day with her, but are looking forward to seeing her in less than three weeks when we get to New Zealand! I can't even explain how much she has brought to our lives. We have been so blessed to get to be her parents. We love you, Gabby!

Gabby Update
I have been so bad at getting stuff posted to the blog! Here are some more pics of Gabby's adventure to and in Hokitika. She has been there for about a week and a half. She is loving staying right on the beach. She spends a couple hours a day working at the bed & breakfast, then has ample time to just hang out and explore. She has learned to bake bread, which I'm excited about because she can bake me some when she gets home! She and her host and another worker participated in a drift wood festival competition. Theirs was based off Dr. Seuss's book "Are you my mother?" and they won both the most natural and grand prize! They got a trophy, $100 to split and a river cruise. She will stay there for another couple weeks before she makes her way to Queenstown where we will be meeting up in just 3 short weeks!
It's really cool how these rocks do look like stacks of pancakes! That makes me hungry...

She is sharing this tiny room with another girl who is also staying and working at the bed & breakfast.

This and the following pics are on the drive over to Hokitika...a bit out of order, sorry!
