Aloha Hawaii

I can't believe Corey's 6 months in Hawaii is over!  It went by so fast!  They have a strict no picture policy at the bird conservation, so I didn't get any pictures of her time there, but she said she had fun and learned a lot.  Right now she is traveling around Australia with her grandma and will return to Washington on November 30th.  We can't wait to see her!

Her last weekend there she attended this show which she said was fantastic.

Good-bye Keauhou Bird Conservation Center...hello Australia!  She is really rocking the socks & sandals look.  You can take the girl out of Washington, but you can't take the Washington out of the girl.

She took her Grandma to her favorite donut shop on the island.

Flying first class to Australia....it's good to be Corey!

House Update

We are in the home stretch! Just two more weeks until the house is officially done...today we have our inspection then the walk through next Wednesday with the builder.  I'm so excited to move into our house and get settled!  Here are some pictures from last weekend when they were putting in the landscaping.

Historical Marker #39-Mt. Rainier

About a week ago we drove to nearby Eatonville to check out what we hoped would be a good route for Corey to take to her new job at NW Trek starting in January.  Although it's just 16 miles as the crow flies from our new house, it is much further driving.  It took us nearly an hour, which was a bit disheartening.  We are really hoping she will be able to get housing at NW Trek for her 3 month stint.  On the way home we stopped by historical marker #39-Mt. Rainier just outside of Eatonville.  Unfortunately no great view of the mountain because it was quite overcast, but this makes #7 overall on our list.

A Chorus Line

Scott and I bought a season pass to the 5th Avenue Theater for the 2026-2027 season, which will consist of 5 shows.  Our first show was A Ch...
