Color Guard Photos

Wanted to post some more color guard photos that I found on Facebook.  The first one is of all the Black Hills High School seniors this year in the marching band & color guard.  The rest are pictures from the Tumwater Marching Band Competition on October 12th.

Today the girls & I carved our pumpkins.  It was a lot of fun & I think they turned out pretty well.  We are ready for Halloween!

I think the scooping out part is the worst, but Gabby doesn't mind at all. 

Corey's pumpkin was so little she didn't have much to scoop out. 

Gabby was nice enough to scoop mine out, too.

Graham Volksmarch # 13

This morning the 4 of us completed another 5k volksmarch at Frontier County Park in Graham.  The weather was foggy & cold, so we bundled up in lots of layers.   It is a huge park with areas for go-kart racing & horses as well as some trails.  Not much to take pictures of, which was just as well, as I forgot my camera.  It was nice to spend some time with friends, though.  We ended with lunch at the Little Park restaurant, which was really good.  Another successful volksmarch!

Pumpkin Hunt

It was another gorgeous fall day so we went hunting for some pumpkins at Lattin's Cider Mill.  I think we found some good ones.  Then we had some delicious treats before heading home to do some decorating of the house & yard.  Scooby Doo has been inflated, so I guess the Halloween season has officially begun!
