Trip to Spokane & Pullman

We spent this past week in Spokane during which Corey attended her WSU Alive! orientation session from the 17th to 19th in Pullman.  We were expecting lots of sunshine & warmth, but ended up with pouring rain and cold.  Luckily, it didn't last for more than a few days, and we were able to get in some sightseeing and a birthday trip for me.  It was a fun & busy week.  Here's what we did:

Saturday:  Drove over & surprise retirement party for Sherry.

Sunday:  Father's Day brunch at Prospector's and visit at Kym's house.

Monday:  Riverfront park to check out the falls and shopping.

Tuesday:  Dropped Corey off in Pullman.  It was pouring rain this day.

Wednesday:  Saw Maleficent (which was really good) and ate at Café Rio

Thursday:  Hiked at the Bowl & Pitcher, then picked up Corey from Pullman. Ate ice cream at Ferdinand's....so yummy!  New laptop for Corey from Best Buy!

Friday:  Road trip to Sandpoint, Idaho & visit to Albeni Falls Dam.  Dinner at P.F. Chang's to celebrate my birthday!

Saturday: back home!!

I can't seem to stop taking pictures of these windmills.  They always fascinate me.  These are on the way to Vantage.

Brunch at Prospector's.  Corey fell in love with the chocolate covered strawberries.

The kids playing with the dogs at Kym's house.  Bazooka is the little black one, and the other is Cooper.

Later we took Winston for a walk around the neighborhood so he wouldn't feel left out.  He was not happy that his girls had given the other dogs so much love.
