Capitol Christmas Tree Lighting
Last night we met up with Stacey in the Capitol Rotunda to view the lighting of the Christmas tree. We enjoyed a wonderful performance by the Olympia Musical Theater's Kids in Concert. This year's theme was Heroes Near & Far. The lighting ceremony is put on each year by donations from the Association of Washington Business members which goes to 18 rural fire departments in 9 counties to distribute to local families in need.
