Virtual Bloomsday 2021

Scott's mom, Sherry, came over from Spokane this weekend and the three of us completed virtual Bloomsday 2021.  This was her first time doing Bloomsday so it was cool that we got to do it with her. Last year we completed it in 2:40:11, but this year we beat that time and finished in 2:38:55.  This year we walked on the Foothills Trail between Orting and South Prairie.  We parked one car at the end and one at the beginning; it was nice to just go one way so we could see more of the trail.  The best parts of the trail were the views of the Carbon River and the bridges. The worst parts of the trail were the snake we saw and too many bikers. Not sure we will do it again next year, but I'm glad that I've gotten to do it twice and now we just have to wait for our finisher t-shirts.

We stopped here for a quick stretch and water break for Rosie.
