We finally went to get passports today for me & the girls. It was on my list of New Years resolutions...for 2009. Ok, so it took us a while, but at least we did it. And with good timing, too, as I read that starting tomorrow the rates are going up by about 35% . We got to the post office right around 10am this morning when the passport section was set to open. There were already about 10 people ahead of us, and by the time we left there were over 20 people waiting in line. I guess everyone was trying to beat the price increase, too. They said it will take 3-5 weeks for our passports to arrive. We are hoping they will come before school starts so maybe we can fit in a quick trip to Canada. I have not been there since we lived in Bellingham, which was 1991-94. Wow, it has been a while.

Passports
