On Saturday we headed down to Riverfront Park for the Pigout in the Park event. We always love going down there to view the falls. We were amazed at how low the river was this time. It was barely a trickle in some places. The girls rode the carousel and then we looked at all the food booths before deciding on what to eat. Corey had her favorite-fried rice. I tried the chicken curry which was pretty good. Sherry had a crab, shrimp & chicken wrap. Connor & Kym had nachos. Jeff had their elk burger. Gabby was too full from the giant elephant ear she had earlier, so she just kind of picked at our food. We had a good time.

You can see how low the river is. In the spring it can be 15 to 20 feet higher.
Her giant elephant ear.
Clock tower.
Other side of the river which had a lot more water.
That white netting-looking thing in the background is where they have ice skating in the winter.
Trying to grab the ring as they go by. Corey got 6 and Gabby got 4.
Fun fountain. The weather was really beautiful & not too hot.
