This past week was spring break for Gabby. Luckily for us, it also coincided with Mom's Weekend at WSU. We drove over to Spokane on Wednesday, spent Thursday at Lake Coeur d'Alene, then both Friday & Saturday in Pullman with our favorite college girl. We packed in a lot of fun activities in just 3 days! We drove home early this morning with a pit stop in Seattle to attend an admissions informational meeting for New York University. I have to admit, NYU does sound really awesome, even though it is really far away! Fortunately, we still have two more years before Gabby has to decide where to attend, but for now I think they are her top pick.
Here are some pictures from our day at Lake Coeur d'Alene on Thursday.

| Ah, big art! These are lovely dandelions! |

| The Resort at Lake Coeur d'Alene. |
| This is the first of 5 Mudgy Moose and Millie Mouse sculptures around the resort. They are characters from a local author's best selling book. |
| A map to help us find all 5 statues. |
| Helpful signs, too! |
| Cool play area. During the summer they squirt water! |
| Here is the 2nd statue we found near the library. |
| Being thug. |
| #3 was in town. |
| We also found this cool crab sculpture that could be yours for a mere $11,800! |
| Bridge photo! |
| This is the fourth statue we found, but it was actually #5 on the list. After this we headed to lunch before finding the last one because we were starving! |
| Millie Mouse |
| My yummy lunch at the resort. So good! |
| They are famous for their desserts, so of course we had to get some. This is the limocello cake with huckleberry sorbet. It was incredible! |
| What a gorgeous day it was! |
| And here is #4, which was the last one we found. |
