After 4 long months without a kitchen, our ordeal has come to an end. On Monday the electrician returned to install the outlets, and our handyman installed the kitchen faucet. On Tuesday the cabinet installer came back and installed the remaining cabinet over the fridge, the side panels, the molding, the kick plates, the cabinet hardware, and the dishwasher. We finally have a functioning kitchen again and we are so happy! It was a painful process full of unexpected delays and frustrations, but overall, we agree that the end product was better than we had hoped. We are happy with all the choices we made and feel like they blended well together to make a beautiful kitchen that definitely feels much larger than our original kitchen. The very last thing that is needed is for the baseboards to be installed in the dining room, but at least until then, we can use our kitchen, so it feels finished.
