It was a busy baseball weekend! We went to games on both Saturday and Sunday; the Rainiers played against the Oklahoma City Dodgers whom we had never seen before. It was Color Cheney Crimson night on Saturday; so fun to see so many Coug fans in the stands. Butch made an appearance, and all the ball players wore crimson in honor of WSU. That was a really fun game and they stomped on the Dodgers, winning 5 to 1. Sunday's game was really stressful. The Rainiers' bats were super cold, and we didn't even get a hit until the 7th inning. We finally scored a run in the 8th inning, forcing us into overtime. Luckily, we pulled it out in the 10th inning and won 3 to 2. So exciting! The players stormed the field in celebration. The Rainiers are now in 1st place in their division! We have one more game in September. Can't wait for more baseball!
