Dad offered to give us his tickets for the Mariner’s game on Monday night! So, we dropped Nova off with Grams and Gramps and headed up to Angle Lake to take the light rail to the stadium! The light rail was really nice and definitely better than driving and parking at the stadium. We arrived with plenty of time to walk around the stadium and choose what we wanted to eat. I had a chocolate soft serve ice cream cone to start since it was so hot, and Terrell got pizza and tater tots. Then we headed to our seats which were way better than I was expecting! We were in the 12th row on the 1st base side with a great view of the batter. The game was fun to watch and really eventful with 4 home runs by the Mariners and a foul ball that almost hit us! The guy sitting next to us caught it for his daughter while I ducked and Terrell yelled “catch it, catch it!” We ended up winning 6-2 and didn’t have to play the second half of the 9th inning. We took the light rail back to Angle Lake and drove home without any traffic in sight. Overall, a fun and spontaneous date night! Shoutout to Gramps and Grams for giving us the tickets and for taking care of Nova so we could go!

Seattle Mariner's Game
Scott & a couple coworkers had bought tickets to a Mariner's game for this past Monday night. They ended up not going because one was sick & the other had something come up. One of them offered Scott his ticket, and Scott ended up offering both of their tickets to Corey & Terrell for a date night. We ended up watching Nova while they went. They had a great time, and the Mariners ended up winning! Here is Corey's write-up and pictures of their fun night.
