For spring break we spent 5 glorious days in sunny Maui, Hawaii. We bought a travel package through Costco back in October so that we would have something to look forward to during the long, wet & rainy winter. We crammed a lot of stuff into those short 5 days including swimming at the beach & pool, kayaking, snorkeling, eating, and shopping. Even with multiple layers of SPF 50 sunscreen our ghostly white Washington skin still burned. We used up almost a whole bottle of aloe vera. The weather turned out much better than we had anticipated with only one day of overcast skies. It was so much fun. I cannot wait to go back!
