It's been a long, torturous 3 months without a kitchen. Yesterday we took the first step in putting it back together when most of the cabinets were finally installed! There is still a lot to do until the kitchen can be used, but so happy this part of the process has started. The plumber is coming on Friday to re-route the plumbing under the kitchen sink. Next week, the countertops people come to measure, then two weeks later they should get installed. Once that's done, the electrician can return to finish the outlets, and then the installer will be back to finish installing the rest of the cabinets and add the final touches (trim, hardware and dishwasher). We also have to get the flooring installed somewhere in there. I can't wait until it's all done! Hopefully it won't be longer than a couple of months.
