New Dora the Explorer
Poor Gabby. When Gabby was little and we lived in California, she used to have really short hair and a dark tan. Everyone always commented on how much looked like "Dora the Explorer". Which, of course, made her hate everything Dora. To this day she cannot walk by a Dora item (backpack, book, DVD...whatever) without shrinking back in horror. Now that she is older and has longer hair, you'd think she'd be safe from Dora, but PERHAPS NOT. Nickelodeon has come up with a new "tween" version of Dora which, as you can see below, looks a bit like Gabs. Check out that headband (which Gabby always wears) and the longer hair and big brown eyes. All Gabby needs is her tan back and they'd be identical. Uh oh! Dora strikes again.
