Gabby has been sick the past 4 days and had to stay home from school the last two. No, she does NOT have the SWINE FLU-she is just sick...runny nose, stuffy nose (isn't it weird that you can have both at the same time?), cough....mostly cough. Scott has been a good sport and stayed home with her these past two days. He got volunteered to do it because he has more sick leave than I do. And wouldn't you know it but today was class pictures at school? This will be the first year she has missed class pictures since starting school. Makes me kind of sad. Hopefully she will make it back to school tomorrow.
We had quite the rain/wind storm blow through here last night. Luckily we did not lose power, but the wind did knock out power to about 2,500 people-- 1,800 in Poulsbo when a tree knocked over a power line, 600 in Bellevue, and 50 on Mercer Island (per KOMO). It's been pretty wet today on & off. Poor Corey has a track meet this afternoon in Olympia. Hopefully she won't get too drenched. Scott is there right now and he's supposed to take some pictures if there are any dry breaks. We'll see.

We've had some nasty storms here too. A couple of tornado warning as well. Crazy weather... Sorry to hear that Gabby was sick. I bet Scott didn't mind staying home all that much. :)
