Instead of driving all the way up to Issaquah for a Volksmarch today, we decided to stay in town and participate in the 2nd Annual Fun Run/Walk put on by the Mormon church. Quite a few people showed up. We walked the 3 mile course around Capitol Lake then up to Tumwater Falls Park. We arrived just in time for breakfast. After eating some yummy food Scott, Winston & I walked back to our car (in all I think we did nearly 5 miles) then drove back up to the park to get the girls. It was a lot of fun. The weather was a bit cool, but at least we didn't get rained on!
The only bad part of the day was not getting any photos. Instead of dragging my BIG & BULKY camera along, I decided to take Corey's little camera since it is so much more portable. And wouldn't you know, it was completely DEAD! I could not get it turned on and I even had the forethought to bring along new batteries. That did not help one bit. But never fear I bought a new camera when we went to Target this afternoon that is small & very portable. Hopefully it takes good pictures because I will definitely be putting it through its paces :)
