Beethoven
Gabby is such a lover of nature. She already has 3 adopted manatees. A week ago she used up 25 of her "chart bucks" to adopt a Beluga Whale from Pt Defiance Zoo & Aquarium. She earns "bucks" by doing extra chores around the house. I think it's pretty neat that she wants to use her bucks to help out these animals when she could easily have used it for other things. She received a miniature stuffed Beluga Whale, key chain, fact sheet, adoption certificate & real life picture in the mail yesterday. Gabby named her new whale Beethoven, which is also the name of the real Beluga which was at Pt Defiance. Beethoven was recently moved to Sea World in San Antonio. Last summer when we visited Pt Defiance we saw Beethoven and hopefully one day we'll make it down there to see Beethoven in person again!
