Middle Fork Snoqualmie River Hike

I went hiking with my friends, Pam & Michele, today on the Middle Fork Snoqualmie River trail.  In all we hiked about 5 miles out & back.  It was a lovely day with no rain, although it was foggy and really cold at times.  The bridge spanning the river was beautiful as was the water & surrounding area.  We encountered more people than expected, especially since the road to the trail head was in extremely poor shape.  It took us 40 minutes to drive approximately 6.8 miles.  If they ever grade this road, I'd surely like to come back & explore several of the other trails that start at that trail head.

This was taken on the drive to the trail head.

We saw some blue skies.  This is Garfield Mountain.

A really large tree fungi Michele found.

More fungi on the tree.  Hard to tell how big they were.

We crossed tons of creeks.  We turned around at this creek because we didn't want to get too wet.

Enjoying some vino.

Those first pictures with the river and the mist coming up were breathtaking!! Which camera do you have now?

Still using my old portable Canon PowerShot. It takes great outdoor pics when the lighting is good. I am contemplating getting a new camera, though.
