Well, we're back in Tumwater. This past week just flew by! We had a great time at Disneyland, California Adventure & Seaworld. Gabby has developed a nasty cold and we're all exhausted. I think we overdid it a bit, but time was short and we wanted to get everything in. We haven't been to Southern California since moving here over 5 years ago. I'm glad we made the trip at this time because in a couple of years the girls will be too old to go to Disneyland. They are growing up too fast!
The flight back was a long one. Our plane was over an hour late so we had to hang out at the airport. I must admit LAX is not nearly as nice as the SEATAC airport which was a bit surprising. Scott was commenting on the drive home that he has to remember to drive slowly now that we're back in Washington. Everyone in California drives 75 and over. I'm sad that our vacation is over, but I am looking forward to spending the night in my own bed tonight. Oh, and we get to scratch a few of the items off our "to do list" for 2009. Hurrah!

Wow!! Looks like a fun vacation--and here I thought the weather might get the best of you guys! Really glad it wasn't as bad in Anaheim as I had heard. I was happy to see Gabby with her beloved manatees--both real and statues! She must of loved it! Your hotel looked beautiful! Glad you had fun and we're glad your back!
It sounds like you had a great vacation! You got some really great pictures and it looked sunny! It looks like you covered everything too...I must admit I'm a bit surprised that you braved the traffic to go to SeaWorld, but I'm sure it was worth it. That's definitely somewhere we want to go with the kids.
